problem to install xmgrace on fedora 16

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – hi everyone. currently i installed fedora 16 on core I3 desktop. after it i was interested to install xmgrace on it. i installed the following files fftw2-2.1.5-22.fc15.i686 libpng10-1.0.56-1.fc16.i686 libXp-1.0.0-16.fc15.i686 fftw-3.3-3.fc16.i686 pdflib-lite-7.0.5-1.fc16.i686 grace-5.1.22-9.fc16.i686 then the next step was to replace id.so.comf file having the text include ld.so.conf.d/*.conf /usr/kerberos/lib /usr/X11R6/lib /usr/lib/sane /usr/lib/qt-3.1/lib /usr/local/lib in it. i have replaced this file but still xmgrace is not working. pleas help me to solve the prob (HowTos)

I have fedora 16 32+ bit installed, which occupies the whole hard drive. Whenever I boot my pc I see these following 4 boot options (as part of the boot menu I guess). But I can only boot to the second option below. What are these options?

I have a machine with Fedora Linux FC16 installed and it has 2 D-Link NIC cards. The two ethernet interfaces are named as em1 and p2p1. I am able to ping on one of the ethernet interface which is em1 but not able to ping on the other interface which is p2p1. All the packets are getting lost on the p2p1 interface.
