Recently I tried installing teamviewer7 on my Ubuntu 12.04. I tried downloading the deb which due to some reason never did finish its download (stopped at ~~10MB/17MB).
Expectedly, installing the same gave unmet dependencies. I followed instructions given
sudo dpkg -i teamviewer_linux.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
This is to my memory the only changes I did to the system.
TeamViewer release an app that allows remote control of your phone from your comptuer called QuickSupport. It says that it is only for Samsung phones and tablets.
The app stops itself from running on the Nexus.
After upgrading from 10.04 to 12.04 I am trying to install different packages.
For instance ia32-libs and skype (4.0).
When trying to install these, I am getting the 'Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages' error message.
Output of commands:
sudo apt-get install -f

Hi, I had some issues with the new TeamViewer deb v8.0.16485 beta. So I downloaded v7.0.9377 but then I got: "Your partner uses newer version of Teamviewer.

Hi all,
I haven't done much with apt-get before, but I am trying to upgrade lighttpd. I have been told lighttpd is installed via an unstable .deb package, and when I use apt-get -fsu install lighttpd, apt-get tells me it is already the newest version.
$ sudo apt-get -fsu install lighttpd

I was trying to install Chinese(traditional) language pack, but it comes out an unmet dependency error.
I have tried sudo apt-get install -f then sudo dpkg --configure -a and sudo apt-get update using the official server already, but the problem still exists.
These show up in the terminal:
