Hi,So, I would like to login from the console with startx.I have created ~/.xinitrc;#!/bin/sh
# Executed by startx (run your window manager from here)
exec openbox-sessionI have used rcconf to disable slim.Reboot and I am asked for username and password at the console login but...the password is not recognised!Do I need to completely remove slim?Is there a setting in /etc/init
I have enabled root to login from screen. I want disable it keep normal and guest user on login screen only because even if I login with normal user for shutting down my machine I have to login with root which was not a problem before enabling root login from screen
I currently have an issue, what I am trying to do is disable root login, and use ssh to login on a new user then su to root when needed. What I am having trouble with is that I am unable to actually allow the user to login through root. I am able to login through SSH on root, but not the user I have made.
I have used the "AllowUser" command, still no luck.
Anything there is to fix this?

Hi.I woud like to ask for help. I've been struggling with some "bug" that i came with Arch and usb devices (disks, pendrives). I can't mount it as a normal user using KDE default mounting software (Dolphin, for an exmample). I can mount it only in therminal by using sudo privileages. Is there a way to fix it?
