Hello archers, ever since I used the Catalyst proprietary driver on my ATI Radeon HD5770 my mouse cursor keeps corrupting all the time. There is nothing in the logs and I wonder if there is any known fix to this problem. Here's a picture of how it looks. I am also using 2 screens and when I move the cursor to my other screen the cursor suddenly changes to its normal form.
I am using GNOME 3 and have configured an X cursor theme using gnome-tweak-tool. However, the default X cursor theme shows whenever I have the cursor inside a Java or Qt application. Gtk2/Gtk3 applications all use the correct cursor. How do I configure the X cursor to be used for Qt or Java applications?

Ok, so I've discovered that I can change the cursor color for any application via .Xresources, so that close right?Wrong!I'll me damned if I can figure out how to do it on a global scale, that is for all applications, and I'll be damned if I can figure out how to change the part of the cursor I'm actually interested in, that is of course the border, outline or whatever you wann

Learning is good. Just don't expect that the community here will fill the Windows 7-like gap in your computing life; read the wiki and search the web before posting.OK Bro , I got your point.

Hello,I upgraded to mc 4.8.5-1 a few days ago. Using mcedit:If one (or more) TABs were used in a line the position of the cursor is two chars away (to the right) from where it should be. Simply edit the line and you see what i mean.
synclient can disable the touchpad. And many tools will hide the cursor (my own "Iocane" project for example).

The GRUB menu doesn't even show up. There is literally nothing showing up on the screen, save for a cursor that moves down one line after about 2 seconds.
