In an analysis of complaints about Internet services statistics blog site Bernoulli Trial has found that Internode recorded the lowest rate of TIO complaint numbers compared to its market share.
Communications Alliance has responded the latest release of complaints statistics from the TIO by focussing on a significant reduction (73 percent) in the number of investigations since the prior quarter and by noting that the, modest, six percent reduction in complaint numbers was achieved "despite the higher profile adopted by the TIO, which...tends to generate higher complaint numbers."

Internode has extended the coverage of its Internode Business Connect (IBC) private IP network services into New Zealand in partnership with New Zealand ISP Orcon to serve Australian clients with offices in New Zealand.
Ten months after it kicked off a trial of the service and almost a year after it was launched by rival iiNet, national broadband provider Internode has launched the FetchTV internet video service on its network, pricing the offering at very similar rates to those offered by iiNet.
Internode has announced pricing for services it will deliver of the first NBN FTTH rollouts in Tasmania: an entry level 25Mbps/2Mbps service with 15GB of data will cost $29.95 per month. $10 less than Internet's nearest equivalent ADSL plan.
