I am looking for a color laser printer recommendation.
Hello,
I'm trying to add an HP Color LaserJet CM2320nf MFP to a CUPS print server.
Cups Version: Common UNIX Printing System 1.3.7
I read somewhere that using foo2hp would work, so I simply selected
Code:
Printer Driver: HP Color LaserJet 1600 Foomatic/foo2hp (recommended)
but when I print to the device all I get is jibberish or blank pages.
Aloha loving Divine readerI am trying to get my printer working with no luck so far. Just to point out - I am still pretty new to Linux.Okey first thing first.I have google and read about this - the laserjet 2600n printer is not always something that works out the box apperently.

There are lot of printers available in the market . It's not easy to decide that which is better. Followings are the best and fast printers for professionally and office use.
All right, this is driving me nuts.
I have an HP Color LaserJet cm1312nfi connected to the ethernet jack on a D-Link DPR-1260 wireless usb print server - so the print server acts as a wireless bridge. I can't get any Ubuntu box to print to the LaserJet. Windows XP and Vista laptops on the network print to it just fine.
Hewlett-Packard Linux Imaging and Printing, an HP-developed solution for printing, scanning, and faxing with HP inkjet and laser-based printers in Linux, is now at version 3.13.4.
Highlights of HP Linux Imaging and Printing 3.13.4:
• HP Designjet Z5200 44-in PostScript Printer, HP LaserJet Pro M521dn Multifunction Printer, HP LaserJet Pro M521dw Multifunction Printer, HP Officejet Pro 251dw
Today I plugged an ethernet cord into the router and printer.
The printer is found under: applications > administration > printing > HP-Laserjet-4M
Clicking this icon brings up Printer Properties, but the printer is not yet connecting with the printer.
I could use some suggestions on changing the Device URI from parallel to ethernet.
So far I have tried: socket://---ip#---:9100 ...
