Ok. So if I wanted a tablet that forced me to buy all products from the same manufacturer, I would have bought an Apple. Instead I bought a Samsung and assumed since it was an android device that I would be able to print from any printer connected to my WiFi network. Apparently Samsung is almost as dumb as apple because I can only print from a Samsung printer? Seriously?
Has anyone found a way to print from the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (or similar) to a printer using USB (ie: not wireless)? The Brother iPrint & Scan app does not support the printer I have which must only be 4-5 yrs old.
Demonstrated in the video, see link below, by Terrence Eden, it's possible to use Google Play to download an app to disable the locked screen and fully access the phone.According to Terrence, this problem is confirmed on the Galaxy Note II, possibly the Galaxy S III and potentially on other TouchWiz UI Samsung Android phones.
I own gnote 10.1. When i tried to connect the usb printer to the gnote through otg cable, the gnote recognised it as a printer. Then i tried to print document via polaris, it said that the printer is not supported. Polaris can only print via samsung printer. Something makes me curious. Gnote recognised the usb as printer but cannot support it, it must be the problem with the driver.
