I am planning to implement this server that would really utilize our main office. Problem: No Budget for new ISP connection for different branches. Solution: PPP Dial in server or (any suggestions from you guys would do) Base on my research ingredients are the following: - mgetty*.rpm - ppp*.rpm and Major tweaking. It sez here also on my research "Optional authentication against a RADIUS or TACACS server" 1. My question is it up to me if I prefer to implement RADIUS(bundled with lucent hw) or TACACS(CISCO hw)? 2. Definitely I need an external modem right? 3. I need a physical diagram on how to implement such project? This question is how do I setup the server. I already have the clients configured..

I've tried this, but it looks like its for LPT2 or IPSEC tunnels. I am looking for PPTP (Dial-up)

Iam setting up a radius server in my local network , i have installed free radius for this. The users will be connected to server throgh pppoe connection.

AP is configured to use EAP with local RADIUS server. AP debug messages indicates RADIUS server rejected Windows client connection even though user & password are correct.

Currently I have a network with 1 ISP, a router/modem, Gigabyte Switch and a server.

All the clients PC are automatically assign IP from DHCP server from a Router/Modem A.

Server A have a fixed IP (eg: 192.168.1.50), installed Linux - used for a Web Server, Asterisk, and Backup use.

I need a new second ISP with separate modem but I want Server B (eg: 192.168.1.60) use ISP B network only.

This is a long story for a little question.

I am connecting to Amazon EC2 instance with a gprs modem and I am trying to setup up a FTP server on the Amazon EC2 instance. The only problem is the latency for the cellular modem is usually over a second which causes the FTP connection to time out.
