Have an old Powerbook G4 running MacOSX 10.5. The Lubuntu v12.04 for PowerPC installs fine but doesn't automatically recognize public wifi. What commands or instructions would I need to add the SSID, Mac address manually to get the wifi to work? Thanks.
Have an old Powerbook G4 running MacOSX 10.5. The Lubuntu v12.04 for PowerPC live installs fine but doesn't automatically recognize public wifi. What terminal commands or instructions would I need in OSX to find the SSID, Mac address info to manually get the wifi to work in Lubuntu with it's "Wireless Add" feature in Networking? Thanks.
I have tried to install some wifi detecting programs, but i don't think the driver is installed... How do i find and install the driver?
I have tried to follow the instructions on Debian's website but
could not find the answer there, it was too confusing for me.
I'm also looking for help in installing the packages...
I am using a PowerBook G4 1,67 15" with Lubuntu 13.04: All updates are done regular with SoftwareUpdater.
After disconnecting the power supply the PowerBook does not recognize it is working in battery mode.
Searching the forum does not deliver a solution.
