Hello all I am having some trouble with screen saver and power management.
When I first installed Mate 64 neither worked then three days ago I got updates and power management works like it should. Then today got some more updates and now I have no control over power management. My screens go off when ever they feel like it.I set xset dpms 0 0 3600 and after any where from one minute to an hour
I'm stumped. I am running a fresh (1 week old) install of W7, all drivers loaded, nothing missing in Device Mangler. Same hardware I've been running for 2 years now. I can game, surf, benchmark and do everything stably with no issues.
Fantastic, except for the fact that the screen saver will not activate.
I've had my AT&T-flavored M8 for a few months now, and for the most part really love it. This is my first Android phone (another BlackBerry refugee, here), and, although there are a few BB features I still miss, I'm mostly very happy with my decision.
When I got my Samsung Galaxy S5, I installed Hangouts (set to use with SMS) and disabled Samsung's pre-installed Messages app. But when I went into the Ultra Power Saver Mode, I discovered that Hangouts is not supported in that mode.
