So yesterday I was at the Sprint store upgrading to the S3, and I was asking about the S3's JB update. After he told me that it's for sure coming soon(non help on when), and while he was porting my sister's number to my E4GT, he started to tell me that the E4GT would be getting JB, and that Samsung had told their store this information. The lady at the counter next to his had agreed with that he had just told me. I was given no time frame either, just that the device will be ge (HowTos)

Anybody here been able to place a reserve/preorder of the One with Sprint? Did you do it in-store or online? I called my local Sprint store and they told me I could reserve it, so I went up their and the guy told me you can't reserve phones in-store. Only online. So I went online and all you can do their is get an email when it is released.

Hey guys, I joined just a month ago and I thought I had everything worked out for when I activate my Virgin mobile E4GT. However, I can't seem to find the thread around here about how to fix the MMS issue/etc for a Virgin E4GT when flashing it to a Rom specified for the Sprint E4GT. I've seen plenty of fixes, but none of them hold a similar method.

The microphone and GPS on my E4GT stopped working. The GPS stopped a few months ago and the microphone just the other day. I tried every rom and the mic is gone. I have an extra white E4GT laying here and I was wondering of there was a way to transfer my phone number from the black one to the white one without calling or going into the sprint srore.

I received some emails asking how to display screenshots as if in a phone, so in case people here don't know about this yet I wanted to share. Let's make the E4GT forums look smooth before we go legacy, lol. ;) I replied in TD's AIO mod thread on this topic but I think it's an "app" post so I'm putting it here.

Got bored and sick of my epic 4 g touch, went to the iphone 4, it bored me even more since I can't flash. ios 6 doesn't work for me. And now I'm here back with my E4GT, anything new I should know other than cm10 and JB, I'm thinking about sticking with gb still or whatever stable miui version.

I just got my hands on a Samsung Galaxy Note because I was told by the sales man that putting in a sprint sim would make it work... Needless to say this is not the case. So it there any way to unlock the phone so I can use it with sprint? I really love this device and I don't think spring will be coming out with anything like it anytime soon. Someone please gove me some good news?!?

Is anyone else having GPS issues in the Houston area? My Nexus 7 and and E4GT GPS isn't locking. My E4GT is on a custom ROM, but my Nexus 7 is just stock rooted and I can't get a lock. Using the Phone Tester app and they're not locking. Just constantly searching.

Edit: Tested on my friend's Evo 4G and he's getting an issue too. If we try to use Navigation it keeps saying "Searching for GPS.

Well, if you’ve been thirsting for some G-Nex love on Sprint’s network, the wait might be shorter than you think.  Thanks to our friends over at Phandroid, they’ve spotted some signage at one of the Sprint store locations for the up and coming Google experience device.  Question is, will the device come with LTE?

I am about to upgrade from my trusty E4GT to a new phone.

I am thinking about giving my daughter the E4GT to use as a music / movie / Game (a la Galaxy Player). It won't be activated as a cell phone any more.

What do I need to do? I know how to set it up under her e-mail address and she will only be able to have Wifi access.
