Arch's firefox is currently compiled without --enable-system-cairo
An example: cairo-ubuntu.
See the countless previous font threads. Check your DPI, install Infinality packages (if you want the best rendering), experiment with fontconfig rules.
If you want state-of-the-art font rendering in openjdk, use bohoomil's font packages (freetype, cairo, fontconfig), and the openjdk font patch (screenshots).
Reduce the font size in your user interface, to compensate. Obviously.
See thread - and its links of course.

You could try to make sense of CONFIG_SND_KCTL_JACK.
Maybe TERM is set wrongly in bash?
Arch's sdl should include xdata patch.Edit: Arch bug filed.
