Pommed v1.32, a minor maintenance release for the 12″ PowerBook G4 was just released. There is also support for the MacBookPro5,4 (15″ June 2009) and the latest wireless keyboard since version 1.31.

Pommed v1.36 is out and brings support for the MacBook7,1, along with a few fixes and updates.
A typo in the pmac keyboard backlight has been fixed, so fading now works there too. Product IDs for the ANSI and JIS keyboard variants for pmac machines were also added. It’s been like forever since I last touched that code; not a lot of people still use those (great) machines.

I was about a day away from upgrading my AT&T Samsung GS3 to the LG G3 until I heard whispers of the updated Prime being released for the US at the Berlin IFA show. Anyone else hear anything else more substantial about it? Best Buy has the G3s on sale for $99 right now but if the phone is going to get a prime version I'd rather wait for that to see what they update....
The KDE Team has released another release candidate for KDE called "Canteras". It contains only few changes compared to RC1 which suggests that the 4.3 is stabilizing and shaping up well for the 4.3.0 release on 28th of July.
It’s amazing how many times we hear the “Prime” name for smartphones, but they never seem to actually get used. We had the Nexus Prime a few years ago, the premium version of the Galaxy S 5 is supposed to be the Galaxy S 5 Prime, and we even had the HTC One (M8) Prime, not to mention the One (M9) Prime.
The KOffice team is extremely pleased to finally announce version 2.0.0 of KOffice. This release marks the end of more than 3 years of work to port KOffice to Qt 4 and the KDE 4 libraries and, in some cases, totally rewrite the engine of the KOffice applications.
