http://forums.androidcentral.com – I bought a pre-order Nexus 7, so I've had it for a while. Right away, I ordered a sleeve for it, which I used for a few weeks. I then ordered the Poetic Slimline case when it was available. It was replaced once as they changed the design and shipped out updated versions to early buyers. I just wanted to throw a few notes up here for folks considering the case. First, I still love the case. Keeping the device + case thin was critical for me. If a case were to add much bulk, it would just kill the experience of having a tablet for me. I also get use out of being able to prop up the table (HowTos)

I just ordered this case, its not in stock until tomorrow.Its cheap and should be a good starter case. I'm not expecting much, but it would be a good backup.

Design

The Poetic Harback is a poorly designed case. While it does offer a folio feature, the oddly manufactured case clearly lacks in simple everyday situations. As shown in the video review, the camera and speaker slots are flip flopped, resulting in the user switching the side the case is inserted.

I am currently using the case-mate barely there case which is a nice all round case, however I find it still adds quite a bit of bulk to the phone. I am after a case that protects against scratches but is very thin and adds little bulk. What is the thinnest HARD case available for the xperia z. Also is there such a thing as a scratch resistant case?

Just ordered this case from Amazon. Saved about 9 bucks versus buying directly from Insipio. This case is nice it have. Soft inner case and a hard plastic outer case. But all one case kinda reminds me of the Speck Candy Shell case for the iPhone

Finally, I get the Nexus 4 all the way in Kenya! Well, not yet, it's coming in on 1st April. Reading the threads it seems that its super fragile, so I want to rubber up (excuse the pun :D). I got the poetic bumper case and the official play bumper case. So wanted to know what cases you are using guys. Please provide a link if you can

Hey guys, I'm currently using the Diztronic case and I'm still nervous about how much protection this case can offer for being so thin so I have my eyes out on a newer heavy duty case. I have seen a few on Amazon and ebay.

This case looks cool but it looks like the Ventec case and I ordered that one but didn't like how hard the TPU was because it was difficult to press the power button.

I think I made my first error: the mother board I ordered has 1 case fan connector and the case I ordered has 2 fans. Now I think I'll have to re-order a different motherboard--

perhaps there is a work-around, -- like can i connect the case fans directly to the power supply ? where would I get the adapter? or do I just solder it ?
