Cinemagram just came out for android but its only available for phones with android 4.0 or higher
Is there anyway around it so that I can install it on my optimus v ?

PHPVideoToolkit error: Execute error. It was not possible to encode "/var/www/vhosts/imodb.ir/cinemagram.ir/sites/default/files/videos/original/dsmall_5.mp4" as FFmpeg returned an error. The error is with the video codec of the input file.
So I've been searching on how update or upgrade the android version on my lg optimus s from 2.3.3 to something higher. Sadly I haven't found anything, is it possible to manually update the android version or maybe flash it? My phone is rooted and running a custom rom.
I find it really upsetting that all of these new phones like the galaxy s 3 and the optimus G still continue to go with a menu key, when clearly the android 4.0+ software was designed to get rid of it. As cool as these phones are, it just makes me feel like they're overcharged 2.3 devices instead of true next gen android phones.
I know this has nothing to do with the Desire X itself. But I want to know others opinions on these two wonderful phones. (Nexus 5 and the LG Optimus G Pro) Please don't recommend me a HTC phone.. Any other brand would be fine to suggest. But these are my two primary focus...
Back in October, France announced that their LG Optimus G would receive Android 4.4 as early as October. Considering KitKat’s release date was only October 31, that was preposterous. Still, it seems like the Optimus G will still be one of the first devices to receive the 4.4 update – at least in Estonia.
