I hear a lot of complaints that makes the screen too dark on androids, my current phone doesn't have the feature. So what do you think of it? Does it work well?
So i'm my first smartphone, off contract, So If I don't want to spend 400$ on a good off contract phone, I'm gonna have to buy on craigslist.
One or two of the phones I am looking at are the nexus s, and the galaxy s2.

I am semi-PC literate (15 years) but don't have a smart phone, just a Tracfone. Have desktop PCs and a laptop. I just ordered a Vizio VTab1008 and read lots of warnings about not letting it upload the newest OS until rooting it. But I need to find a place where I can get a tutorial before I turn it on and let it go online. Are there stickies or forums to help me?
Hello Tech Heads - Just got my SG2 recently and the battery life was superb. I went to work and came home and had about 70-72% showing. Now, I had added Lookout, Ebay and Craigslist, Business calendar .... but made sure to clean up things as the day went along. I don't use the phone for surfing too much at work and no game play, etc.

So a few months ago I finally made the upgrade to an Android device. Previous phone was a Nokia Nuron basically a first generation smartphone which served me well for three years but I wanted 4G web browsing and the flexibility of the Andoid OS. So I bought a refurb Samsung Sidekick 4G off eBay for $150-ish (T-mobile).
Recent research clearly demonstrates that eBay is in steady decline, with Craigslist picking up all the traffic they're losing. Meanwhile, Amazon is relying more and more on Christmas sales to boost its coffers.
