Unfortunately it did not work. And I think I bricked my phone and need help to recover. Now the phone says "System Software not authorized by Verizon ..... "
Okay, so I decided to use the Exynos Abuse app to root my Verizon Galaxy Note II because I have a Mac. (I am a complete noob). So the other day I tried to install the Revolution custom ROM. Of course, I had no idea about unlocking Boot Loader on my phone, so I go the message saying that the system software is not authorized by Verizon, and thats when I started to freak out.
So I bought this phone from a Verizon store. I am now in Canada for a few months and am on a monthly contract with Telus. While I'm here I cancelled my monthly with Verizon. When I try to tether here, my phone says "Checking subscriptions status" then that fails and it refers me to Verizon's numbers.

I am sorry if this is in the wrong section but i have looked every where and cant find anything to what im going thru? I recently traded my galaxy s3 for a note 2 on verizon that was flashed to tmobile and then reflashed to verizon.
Hoping someone out here can help! I just tried rooting my Verizon Galaxy S3 using Oding and root66 and at the end of the process my phone rebooted and stayed stuck on the Verizon 4G LTE screen. I tried removing battery and restarting phone but every time it still stays stuck on that screen. Any help greatly appreciated, thank you.

I updated the S3 Bootloader Unlocker and for some stupid reason i decided that i wanted to relock and unlock the bootloader.
I relocked it to find out that it didnt give me the option to unlock again.
Then i proceeded to reboot the phone and low and behold, The verizon screen of death popped up.

I currently have a galaxy nexus rooted with AOKP and franco kernel. I would like to use the tethering feature, but from everything I read it is 1) not easily possible and 2) not a good idea.
I would like to keep my phone rooted, but pay the $30 fee to use verizons hotspot. The only problem is that there are no verizon apps installed on my rooted phone.
