Really, I wasn't looking forward to my phone getting an update, at all.
But I got it yesterday and I am very very happy with it.....so far.
Text is 90% easier to read.
Voice to text works much better.
Like the long press home and recent apps *I know it used to do same thing but it's quicker and looks better like this.
Am learning Google Now and how to use it but it seems really good so far.
I had a pleasant surprise today. I needed to transfer holiday (vacation) pictures to my SGT7+ and when I plugged it into Kies (Samsung's interface software), I was notified that a firmware update was available. After the update my SGT7+ is running ICS. My SGT7+ seems to be quicker and smoother, but I've only been able to play for a few minutes.
If you dont notice, websites with a lot of white space ( such as my blog :P) are very likely to cause eye strain and headache, especially when you surf the internet at night. The most pleasant theme for the eyes should be like the classroom blackboard, with a dark background and light text.
A pleasant surprise. Works immediately on Ubuntu 10.04: lo and behold!, both on the 32 bit version and on the 64 bit version. Just insert the USB connector, and the E360d is ready to print. Thank you, Lexmark.
Aaaand the Google Glass jokes have officially gone mainstream.
Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update — the bit that long ago became the best reason to tune into SNL — took on Glass last night… and, well, they kind of nailed it.
Starring the legendary Fred Armisen* as “Tech Correspondent” Randall Meeks, the skit tears into Glass for just about everything you’d expect.
