Hi, Undying demo installs and runs well the full game installs but when I run it I get the error "A debugger has been detected"
"unload the debugger and try again" I am running Opensuse11.2 with wine-1.1.28 from the repo's, this game apparently uses safe disc v2. Is this causing it?, If so any workarounds? thanks
Hi everyone, i have a small problem with wine, i updated to wine wine-1.5.12-3, now by default wine command is not working, i get:wine
-bash: /usr/local/bin/wine: No such file or directorySo i removed the old wine, and installed it again, but i still get the same ...
As far as I know, this problem is new and started happening about two weeks ago. It may be coincidence, but this issue popped up after I migrated to systemd. I know everyone loves to hate it, but AFAIK it hasn't given me any issues. About two weeks ago there was a game update as well, so maybe that caused it.I play CS:GO under WINE, and it runs pretty well.
Running Ubuntu 12.04 and a compiled version of wine 1.5.20 with the patch to run swtor. Nvidia proprietary driver 304.64 Have all the necessary dll files loaded into wine. Start the game with the res at 1000x614 so the login screen will work. Get into the game fine but.. There are no widescreen options in game to choose from.
Haya,
The last game on my list to get working before I uninstall Windows from my gaming machine is DOTA 2.
I can get steam working in wine and I can launch the game, all seams good.
It is however very unstable some times I can get as far as half way through a game and sometimes I cant even get into one.
I actually had the game running a week ago and was able to start it on several different days.
But of today, it doesn't work anymore.
So I uninstalled wine, uninstalled my graphics drivers, reinstalled both, and reinstalled the game.
It still does not work. All the directories in winecfg and regedit match up perfectly.

It is not first time Carmack has shown his support for Wine.
