Much awaited role playing game Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition will be coming to Linux platform.
The game is a remake of popular isometric role playing game Baldur's Gate (released in 1998).
Yeah, so I'm pretty much sad as hell that Beam Dog delayed the release of Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition. That being said I really have great faith that they did it for the right reasons and are going to release and amazing game.
So first off, (for people who know the game) I'm not actually trying to play the game "multiplayer" - I just want to be able to make all my own characters.
Every thread I went to told me, to burn MP3 disc I have to select data disc in Brasero or in other burning app. This is not true, I have wasted my CD ten times just to burning a working MP3 disc. It plays with some of my player but not all. To burn an MP3 disc with data mode on Brasero or other app is absolutely dumb.
On Windows, it has Ashampoo Burning Studio Free.

I made a short video for my brother and want to send it to him on a DVD for playback on a regular DVD player.
I created it in DeVeDe and burned it to disc. It plays back in VLC on my laptop, but won't play in either of my DVD players. I'm concerned it won't play for him.
I made sure that it was set to NTSC (live in the US). The disc in question is an 8x RW DVD+R.
Hi,
I am trying to find out if there is a way to LEGALLY run a game
that has safe disc v2 in linux, preferably under wine,
but alternatively Code weavers cross over games,as a last resort I
may look at cedega however I hear they no longer return any code.
The game I am trying to run is 2001 vintage and the demo runs well
I'm running wine 1.4.1 on ubuntu 12.10. I've managed to get the game successfully installed using instructions found online, but when I try to launch the game nothing happens.
For some reason Ubuntu (12.04) only starts if a CD is in the CD tray. After selecting the OS if no CD is in the tray then the computer stays with a blank purple screen, but when there is the disc is read and ubuntu boots. It seems to work regardless of disc.
