Cedar View is GMA600, while Poulsbo is GMA500, they're both the same PowerVR design with little differences.
Works fine here. mplayer2 though, maybe that makes a difference.
@Trilby: You used software decoders and encoders. Xaero252 wants to use hardware ones.
rc.local runs as root so you don't need to mess with sudo if you put stuff in there.
-vo vaapi is not enough. You also need -va vaapi
Why do you think he should install 340xx?
Without knowing which ethernet card is in there, it's impossible to help you. Post the output of lspci -nn on that machine.
It doesn't show up in lspci because it's an USB device, so lsusb is the tool to find it. Driver is available here: https://github.com/lwfinger/rtl8723au
