Zope is a Python-based framework for building secure web applications and Zope 2 is a legacy framework, which is kept alive to support existing applications built on top of it. Even though Zope2 is no longer the framework of choice for new projects, it doesn't mean that there aren't any new updates for it.

Due to a bug in pacman file conflict resolution, the upgrade to the package formerly named zope-interface requires manual steps.
pacman -Rdd zope-interface
pacman -S python2-zope-interface --asdeps
I needed to uninstall firefox 19 which was installed during the installation of Ubuntu 12.04, in order to downgrade the version so that I can install firefox add-on compatible to lower versions. Then broken system created.
I tried to update, or upgrade, apt-get -f install, synaptic installation, or re-install firefox,... but to no avail.
