I appreciate if anyone can help with the following issue:
I'm trying to run web2py in startup on beaglebone (linux Debian).
The problem is that it does not start on the boot; however when i do service web2py start, it starts and works. The reason I know it does not start on the boot is that because when I do netstat -tanp the web2py port is not occupied. Apache2 starts in the boot tho.
I appreciate if one could help me figure this out.
I'm trying to tun web2py on startup in a linux machine. I'm simply using a command line added to crontab as follows: @reboot python web2py.py &
I've tested this command for other python scripts like to blink an LED and it works fine.
