Hello everyone I'm just trying to get a general idea of your thoughts on the matter. I am currently an Owner of the Galaxy S3 (White Model) A couple weeks from now the new Galaxy Note will be announced and a little down the road the new Nexus device. First of all I've never owned a Note but it does intrigue me A LOT.
I did a buddy upgrade on my wife's line to get the Galaxy Note 2. My wife just has a regular flip phone and doesn't want a smart phone. That being said, the Galaxy Note 2 arrives today sometime. I have a Galaxy Nexus right now. Could I just swap the SIM card in the devices and be up and running or do I have to call Verizon and swap phones?
I've used Galaxy Note II for about 6 months and just lost it in a festival last night :(
So I use my old Galaxy S II for now. Do you guys think it will be worth to buy a Nexus 4.
Hi, I've been lurking here for several weeks now and finally decided to open an account. I wanted some help making a decision regarding the Note 2. I was really considering getting a Note 2, I had my heart set on it up until I read a few reports of verizon basically neutering the phone, by removing certain aspects, such as the wireless charging feature, and blocking mode and such.
When it came to phones for 2011, the two hottest phones in terms of buzz had to be the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Note. Interestingly enough, both phones are made by Samsung. The buzz for the Galaxy Nexus was surrounded around Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich whereas the Galaxy Note was all about it’s mammoth 5.3-inch display and stylus, dubbed the S Pen.
What do you guys think, the note 2 is big enough to serve as a mini tablet. Those of you who have the nexus 7 and plan on getting the note 2, will you get rid of your nexus 7? If you plan on keeping the nexus 7, where will it fit between your computer and your note as far as daily usage?

It's official, TMobile has cut the galaxy note out. Why? Probably has to do with the fact that the note 2 is around the corner. And I waited all this time for the note to come out on TMobile! Late to the party note, thanks. Although I did get a note and I love it for it's huge display and stylus, there is nothing else impressive about this phone.
Currently I have an iPhone 4 and I can't wait to get off of the Apple bandwagon because I'm sick of how they act as a company and how much they restrict you on a phone you pay for.
I'm trying to figure out whether to just get a Galaxy S3 now or wait for the Note 2. Both seem like great devices to me and I don't know what I should do.
I have had the Note 2 about a week, I enjoyed Android I changed from a Galaxy Nexus phone to the Note 2.
I used these two apps on the Nexus and they worked fine, I have installed them on the Note 2 and neither work as they previously did on the Nexus - the pedometer doesn't count all the steps (way short) and the Sleep app doesn't register movements nor generate the correct graphs.
