I could not get the Phoronix test suites (that have to be compiled) to work on Fedora 16.
So I installed a Fedora 17 system and have the same problem. This example is the "scimark2" suite. I can do the compile myself ("make" as per the README instructions) and the actual test runs just fine. The run is done by an ordinary user-id (not root).
Suggestions appreciated.

I'm trying to use the Phoronix Test Suite and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get it to work. I've installed the phoronix-test-suite package from the CCR but it won't run because it says it requires PHP JSON to work, but I can't seem to find it anywhere (AUR, CCR, etc...)!
Phoronix it’s a cool way to benchmark and test your system, with a lot of different testing suites, also this applications is opensource licensed under the GNU GPLv3.
