Phone stuck on Splash Screen after OTA ICS

http://forum.xda-developers.com – Looking for a little help for a friend of mine. Her E4GT is not rooted and yesterday she accepted the OTA update without an SD card present. I don't know what exactly happened but the aftermath resulted in her phone being stuck on the first splash screen. I booted into stock recovery and tried to apply the update manually but it aborts the install everytime saying: Finding update package… Opening update package… Verifying update package… Installing update… file_getprop: failed to start “/system/build.prop”: No such file or directory E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (status 7) (HowTos)

I flashed .26 to.30 fine now when I put the TF700T US_10.4.4.16-20120927 OTA.zip file in SD card then go to recovery I get this.

Finding update package... Opening bundle update package... E: can't open /SD card/ASUS bundle.zip ( no such file in directory) Installing update... Finding update package...

A system update keeps on popping up on my screen, when i do the update it goes into download mode....

Okay, so after much frustration I finally got TWRP on my phone, and got it successfully rooted, yay! But now, I have the .zip files for both CM10 and Gapps on my SD card, and the .zip for CM10 refuses to flash. Below I'm going to post what TWRP says when I try.

Samsung recently released firmware update PDA: I9300XXBLH3, CSC: I9300DBTBLH4, Version: 4.0.4, Date: 2012-08-24.

My S3 is rooted and encrypted. I had to decrypt it before I could downloading the update.

Went through the cookbook: 1. Rooted 2. Unlocked bootloader 3. installed recovery (VZWGS3_EZ-Recovery2.2.apk 4. copied CleanRom 5.5.1.zip to sdcard

Boot into recovery - clean cache, data etc (did it a couple of times)

When I "apply update from external storage" and select the CleanRom 5.5.1.zip I get: -- Install /sdcard/MEM ...

The problem I'm experiencing with my HTC hero is that I'm unable to install any of the android system updates.

[Q] Rom manager is misbehaving 43 weeks 3 days ago

Hi everyone, I have a problem with Rom Manager:

on any rom/kernel I tried it so far, Rom Manager could not make a Backup.

Please help. I've been trying to get the latest OTA update for my HTC Rezound. I have Amon RA recovery with 3.15 on my phone. Is there any way of getting the OTA or do I have to remove Amon RA before getting the update.
