http://forum.xda-developers.com – Hey guys, I just got an S3 3 days ago, just got paid again and was wondering if I should go ahead and spring for the note 2 but everyone keeps telling me since the note 2 has exynos, it will be hard to develop for or something? I've had an iPhone for 5 years so I'm a clinical retard when it comes to android stuff. It almost seems like the people saying that are kind of jealous that they don't or can't get the note 2. I was just wondering if you can easily root the note 2 and flash CM10, because I hate bloatware and love CM10 sounds. If CM10 isn't available is it possible to de bloat it at all? (HowTos)

How to root note 2 5 weeks 3 days ago

I want to root my Note 2 so I can install custom roms. I previously rooted my Desire HD with the help of these forums so I thought I'd ask here again.

I checked XDA and there are so many mentions of things like triangle away, the flash counter etc. I'm quite confused.

My phone is a Samsung galaxy note sgh_i717. It's on the rogers network. I successfully installed cwm and tried to install cm10 (for at&t version, but which I read in a forum it's the same phone and roms should work) and I got an error when installing the zip. I ended up giving up on cm10 and tried installing liquid smooth rom and it ended up hard bricking my phone.

Possibility of some CM stuff? 33 weeks 2 days ago

Well, if I understand this bootloader situation enough, we can't edit .kdz files because they are encrypted. Thus disabling us from flashing CM stuff. However, if we can't edit stuff before we flash, is it possible to edit stuff after we flash? For example, mini stuff like these

CM10 boot screen CM10 launcher CM10 apps? (Messaging, Contacts) CM10 Themes? Other CM10 stuff?

Hey guys, having some problems. I messed up and bought the note international GT-i9220, I did read another xda forum and do what they said on there and im not sure what it was all about, so now when i turn my phone on it says N7000 but when it loads up and i go to system settings and then hit about phone it still says i9220.

So to keep things short, my sister said I could use her upgrade to get the Note 2 if I give her my iPhone. I am not sure if I will like Android and may miss iMessaging and iTuens and stuff but I am willing to make the change. The question is, should I wait for the S4 or go ahead and get the Note 2?

The screen is bigger on the Note, and the S-Pen is nice, but the S 4 has 1080p vs 720. Can you use the S-Pen on the S 4? Which CPU/GPU is better? Exynos Quad with Mali400-MP, Exynos Octa with PowerVR SGX 544mp3, or Snapdragon 600 Quad Krait 300 w/Adreno 320?
