http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi All I have created an ftp user for myself on CentOS running vsftpd. Now the ftp user can login remotely and I set up his default home dir to: /var/www/html. I can see eveything in the folder and subfolders but when I try to create a folder , it gives me this error: 550 Create directory operation failed. I tried all the permissions command, but it did not work: chown -R dextrousdave /var/www/html chmod 755 /var/www/html Here is the permissions for my ftp user -rwxrwxr-x. 1 dextrousdave I still cannot write/upload any files. How do I enable my ftp user to upload/write files insid (HowTos)
