I am new to Android and imported all my contacts into my new phone from my old Treo. On the Treo, I just had to have the 10 digit number, without the 1- prefix. That is, if the contact liste 780-555-1212, you could set the Treo to automatically dial it as 1-780-555-1212. I cannot find such a setting on the Android.

I am trying to use my Hauppauge HD PVR 1212 to record video game footage. So far I have plugged the device into Windows in order to upgrade it to the latest worthwhile version (1.5.7) noted on the Myth TV Wiki: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Hauppauge_HD-PVR

Now I've plugged it into Ubuntu but I can't find a way to display the gameplay footage. I've tried Cheese and VLC so far.

Whether there is at present ROM for it??? Patches or customize? Let's collect all information on this phone here...
