We had planned for a re-release of the Mac & Linux versions of Penumbra as a Collection. We sent out a PR and made some noise during the week to make sure it was known the Collection would sell for USD 5 during the weekend. [...]
The Penumbra games collection developed by Frictional Games and distributed by Paradox Interactive, have appeared in the Steam for Linux application database.
The current rumor on the Internet regarding the Steam for Linux launch places the event in the middle of November.

The game and engine were released under few different licenses depending on the tools, game parts : GPLv3, Creative Commons 3 and zlib
