I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on my old Pentium 4 with 1.5GB of Ram. I have two hard drives installed, my primary master is an 80GB IDE connected directly to the mother board. My secondary master is an old IDE - DVD Burner. I also have an 80 GB SATA drive connected to a PCI controller card installed on my system.
Hello,Since yesterday, I have important trouble with my network card.My only network card does not get IP address automatically through DHCP. Thus I have tested to launch dhcpcd manually however I just get a time out.
After my HTC one X fell down from the desk, its not detecting the sim card. I took it to the service center, and they said only option will be to change mother board!! And it costs almost 3/4 of the new phone itself! Any idea what can be the problem? Will I really have to change mother board??
PLease take a look end help me if you have the time, my old on-board network card (nvidia mcp73) just stopped working, it recognises, but it says it is detached or not connected or something like that (my ubuntu 13.04 is not English ). My system has the driver (I think), I couldn't find the reason, so I took a new PCI card with realtek 8139c chip-set and everything is the same.
So the ICS upgrade for p970 finally reached my country and I updated. It was good for a while then it started to have SD card problems. SD card constantly unmounts and I have to restart it and it becomes OK.
I figured it's not an SD card issue because it happened even if Changed the SD card twice.
I also figured it's not a hardware issue because it becomes fine after a reboot.
