I notice on the Donation page that LQ makes use of PayPal to handle donations made to LQ. Personally, I have never liked nor used PayPal. Recent events have made PayPal even less attractive. I am wondering if it might not be time to consider some less malevolent alternatives. I feel uncomfortable donating my time to a site the uses PayPal.
This may have been discussed previously, but is there any chance of implementing a non-Paypal donation system? I have technical and philosophical issues with Paypal. They caused me incredible headaches in the past.I'm intending to add back-donations whenever I do donate, but it won't be via Paypal. Google Checkout, Amazon payments are either of these feasible?
