Well because of cm9 and the ics leak....I was able to sign up for Paypal Here; the paypal CC and Check reader. Works great on ICS but it is not available via google play if you have GB.
good day :)
This has probably already been spoken of but this about the compatibility (if any) between an Android based Dell Venue 7 or 8 tablet and the PayPal Here card reader. There have been advancements, but I have been unable to nail anything down. My ZTE Android phone works fine with the PayPal Here card reader, but I would prefer the larger size of a 7 or 8 tablet.
Samsung and PayPal worked closely together to get payment support set up with the Galaxy S 5′s fingerprint scanner, and today PayPal officially announced fingerprint-based payments would be going live in 25 countries.
I notice on the Donation page that LQ makes use of PayPal to handle donations made to LQ. Personally, I have never liked nor used PayPal. Recent events have made PayPal even less attractive. I am wondering if it might not be time to consider some less malevolent alternatives. I feel uncomfortable donating my time to a site the uses PayPal.
PayPal makes an effort to keep its service available on just about every device out there, and Pebble’s smartwatch is the latest in a long list of phones, tablets, and other connected things. The app lets Pebble users check-in and punch in payment codes to pay for things at several retailers that accept PayPal.
I am making a mobile POS and since the PayPal here credit card reader has no SDK for developers I am using a MagTek uDynamo credit card reader which has an SDK to get the users Masked Credit Card Number which looks like 4444********1111. I am using your Android SDK but I don't see any way to handle passing in a masked credit card number or even an unmasked credit card number.
