ZenPayroll, which has a list of all-star investors, is disrupting a space that incumbents like ADP and Paychex have dominated for some time.

ZenPayroll, the startup that offers an easy to use, cloud-based payroll application; is announcing a new round of Series A funding totaling $20 million. The round was led by General Catalyst Partners with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers also participating.
Cloud Sherpas has raised $40 million and made its eighth acquisition to expand its cloud brokerage service.
The funding, lead by Greenspring Associates, brings Cloud Sherpas’ total to $62.6 million. Existing investors Columbia Capital and Delta-V Capital joined in the new round.
