Software configuration :
I have a new Server with windows server 2008 R2 installed via VMWare.
I have installed Apache2.2, PHP5.2 and MySQL5.5 as separated packages.
Issue :
On my first installation of my application all works great.
When I updated some JS and CSS files then I access to my application again from a PC on local network I get the old JS and CSS versions!
I have a web server, which was working fine. It also was an FTP server and a Windows Remote Desktop server, all working fine. Someone called our ISP to increase the internet speed, and suddenly nothing works - I can connect with Teamviewer, but HTTP, FTP & RD doesn't work.
I am setting up a Windows Server 2008 R2 lab environment in VMWare workstation and attempting where possible to use Windows Server 2008 R2 to implement machines that serve specific roles within that environment. Using the "Network Policy and Access Services" role I have been able to setup a machine that can server as a NAT router. The issue is that any and all connections are allowed outbound.
I had this working at some point with TFS 2010 and IIS 7 but didn't save the settings when I upgraded to Windows 8.
Basically, I have a TFS 2012 server running. Everything works fine when I am using http://localhost:8080/tfs to access the server.
I've installed Windows Server 2003 R2 and IIS role (no Active Directory role).
I've setup a virtual directory named 'test' and under Security tab of the 'test' Virtual Directory I've disabled the Anonymous login and enabled Integrated Windows Authentication. The server is on the local network. What I do is I access the test/ directory on the server using the browser.
I have just been given access to a new Windows Web Server 2008 R2 which has SQL Server 2008 R2 installed on it.
Hi all,
I am trying to access an NFS share set up on an AIX 5.2 box from Windows. I can either use my Windows 2008 server to connect to it and then connect the workstation to the server 2008 box, or directly map the XP workstation to it, whatever is most efficient.
I have an IIS7.5 server (also running SQL Server) which has a server name of (say) dc-db.
On this server, my IIS default site runs correctly on http://localhost and http://dc-db
I want to load on a web app to run at http://management.dc-db
I have created the new site, and attempted to use the following bindings for host name:
management.*
management.dc-db
management.dc-db.local
In all cases
A company which our agency works for got a Windows Server 2008.
I've had the job to install an FTP-Server (FileZilla Server) on this Windows Server 2008.
Now my problem is that the server does not accept most of the connections.
VPN-Connections to this server work [even from outside], but ftp from outside the local network does not work.
I've also written a little tool to test which connections
