Partitioning for UEFI

view story

https://bbs.archlinux.org – I need some help as I'm trying to setup partitions for a new Arch install. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Un … n_in_LinuxThe article above says that.. "Using GPT fdisk (aka gdisk): Create a partition with gdisk type code "EF00". Then format that partition as FAT32 using mkfs.vfat -F32 /dev/<THAT_PARTITION>".Is there an issue if I just use the cfdisk command when setting up my partitions and make the partition for UEFI in a FAT32 filesystem?
