The Panasonic Eluga is now available unlocked via Expansys. Back in February right around Mobile World Congress time we posted an article about this water-resistant device. Stating that it was a very sleek, eye pleasing phone, but it left many visitors to the booth less than impressed. The Eluga is powered by a TI OMAP 4430 CPU.
For those of you who didn’t catch the announcement of Panasonic’s Eluga at MWC, what we’ve got here is a 4.3″ device with a TI OMAP 4430, the very same of which resides inside the Motorola RAZR. From the hands on impression at MWC, however, it seems it may not be as fluid as the RAZR, despite the similarity.
MWC is well under way and the latest company to reveal a flagship device is Panasonic. The company has shown off their new “Eluga” device housing a TI OMAP 4430 CPU and 4.3-inch qHD display. On paper this device sounds like a power horse but it seems like those who’ve stopped by the booth for a demo experienced something a little unimpressive.

Panasonic has revealed its line-up in what is brewing as the next technology showdown, the home HD 3D television war. iTWire had a chance to try out some funky eye-ware (not allowed to call them 3D glasses apparently) and check out the latest Neo Plasma and full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc players from Panasonic.
The phone called Panasonic P51 will come with Galaxy Note like stylus support. 5 inch HD Display, 1.2 GHz processor and 8 megapixel rear camera.

The Japanese consumer electronics industry continues to feel the squeeze in the economy, with one of the more painful effects being mass layoffs of workers.
