Pan graphic attachment preview setting

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I love the Pan newsreader except: Sometimes Pan will preview a graphic attached to a post and sometimes it won't. I recently switched from the fglrx ATI video driver to the radeonhd driver and now Pan seems to have decided that it shouldn't preview very many graphics. Perhaps it's just a coincidence. It's annoying because I can't see any way to control when it previews and when it doesn't. There doesn't seem to be any setting in the GUI and I can't find any in the various config files either. Anyone have any ideas on how to adjust it? (HowTos)

Hi! I have a Fujitsu-Siemens V5535 laptop with a SIS Mirage 3+ graphic card, 671/672 chipset. I put ubuntu 9.10 on it, but I am not even able to settle the screen resolution higher than 800/600 . I tried different sollutions that i have found on the linux forum, but I was not successful.Can direct me in the right direction?

Hello, my hp pavilion ze4900 was workign perfectly then i installed some navidia driver thing ( wich wasnt for my cp) and then when i restarted it went blank. I have read various ways to fix this but i am still a linux noob and need much help.

I'm using ubuntu, and I'd like my /var/log/syslog file to display unix_chkpwd lines, such as this one (which it doesn't do at the moment) : Feb 6 04:20:40 www unix_chkpwd[20528]: password check failed for user (root) I'd rather not install linux_pam unless really necessary because I already tried it and I've had quite a lot of problems with it.

Tired of not knowing anything except Windows. Bought a Dell mini with Ubuntu 8.04 installed on it and I'm working on learning Unix from the command line. This Forum ought to be helpful once I get a little further along.

wondering what I need to do to make my VI scripts better formatted. The colorized commands, etc.., and the indents where necessary. Hope this question makes sense.

Its not in the repo's. Its not in anything online that actually works. If i download the pack i either have the older versions of required packages or I dont have them all together. Now i cant get on any of the servers I did before because they upgraded, and I cant.

I just saw a show online about some store up north. They have this handy little handheld scanning device that customers can use in the store to get prices and info on their purchases. Doesn't this sound eerily like the good ole Scancat???!!! Sorry I don't have the details. I'm trying to find it.

Trash, USBs, filesystem, etc.. These icons are on my desktop, but I can't for the life of me find where that option is..

I want them gone, anyhow. Any suggestions?
