http://askubuntu.com – when i try to open avidio file like .mkv extension with mplayer it requires some multimedia plugin like gstreamer and and Ubuntu 12.01 freshly installed and when i tell him to install them that Error appears to me : This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable. Furthermore there could be a conflict between software packages which are not allowed to be installed at the same time. Okay so I just installed ubuntu on my windows 7 laptop using wibu and I updated everything via the software updater, though when I try and install wine I get the following error Package dependencies cannot be resolved This error could be caused by required additional software packages which are missing or not installable.

I'm trying to install Koha ILS following the instructions on koha-community wiki but keep ons getting this error...

After trying to run a .M4A and a .MP4 (aren't they same thing?) I get a message saying I need to install extra codecs. When attempting to do this, I get an error window stating 'dependencies not met' for the codecs.
