Out of Disk Space, /mnt/hgfs to blame?

http://serverfault.com – I'm running a Centos VM in VMWare Fusion 5.x. The VM is an Aspera file transfer server and the files being sent are stored on the mounted disk. I've allocated 50 GB for the VM disk and shared another volume from the host (/mnt/hgfs/Aspera). It looks like the file transfers are taking up space on the root volume and Centos is complaining that it's out of space. I spent some time last night resizing the VM disk from 20 GB to 50 GB using Gparted and it filled up again this morning. How do I mount the other volume in VMware such that it doesn't use vm disk space? Here's my command outputs: [ro (HowTos)
