[other_os] Touch screen air pocket problem for acer netbook- Help!!

http://ubuntuforums.org – I installed a touch panel on my acer aspire netbook as directed, but got air pockets/ bubbles all over the screen. The dark part is the clearest and is where the touch panel is contacting the screen best, the rest is all air and blur. Any ideas or advice - I've tried it a billion different times already... click here for the picture:D Thanks, thanks, thanks!! (Hardware)

This is not the newest product by Acer, but in my own opinion this is a good netbook currently available in my region. Thi is the Acer Aspire One 532H. Not only have nice color and design, this Aspire One 532H also comes with an interesting price.

Okay, first a list of the hardware:

I use an Acer AS 1410 netbook with a Microsoft USB cordless Arc mouse.

I have a problem with my Acer V5 touch, my touch screen is not working properly, when I touch it, it only recognice de click,, but do not recognice when I stopet touching it.

Is like if the touch screen "think" that my finger is still in contact with in.

Any solution?

(I also want gestures for my clickpad on gnome shell)

So after setting up Xubuntu in my Acer Aspire One netbook everything runs smoothly. However I normally use this netbook (1024x700 Resolution) together with a larger VGA desktop screen (because the netbook's screen is so darn tiny) and use the VGA as my main and the netbook's screen as my secondary screen.

Anyways.

I have installed UBUNTU 11.10 on my media player and connected to SAMSUNG 400 (40 inches) TS-3 touch screen. I have been able to rectify all the problems except for touch screen problem. I have tried all the touch screen solutions given on this website, but I have not be able to solve this issues.

Would anyone help me with this problem.

I have a Wildfire with the following characteristics:

buzz pvt ship s-on hboot - 1.01.0002 touch panel - fail radio - 3.35.20.10 dec 27 2010, 17:49:10

As you can see above, the touch panel has failed. I suspect that the touch panel problem is software related because when I put the touch panel on another Wildfire phone, it works.
