The screen's part number is B101AW03 V.0 - If you google it you will likely find the product specs, but here's what I can give you: 1024x600 WSVGA Size 10.1 The price of this piece of hardware is $50-100. That's too expensive (I only have $20); I was wondering if I could replace it with something cheaper than the exact product that came built in. (are they universal?) - search (Hardware)

I sat on my Samsung Galaxy S Captivate last night and most of the screen went black with just part showing, but no cracks on the screen are visible. I was able to put the phone into flight mode based on what I could see on the screen. This morning however there is no display at all on the screen.

I see that I can replace the screen and the digitizer.

Title says it all, I really, really enjoyed this phone. Anyway, it looks as though due to the edge to edge design of the screen that you can't actually simply replace the screen for this you need to actually replace the entire front panel consisting of the screen touch panel digitizer etc.

Bad luck! I cracked my nexus 7 screen just after I got it one month. The screen is unresponsive. I found this Nexus 7 LCD Screen and Digitizer Assembly. And also the Nexus 7 Digitizer Touch Screen. The LCD assembly is really too expensive. Hope I don't have to replace it. Which part do I have to replace? Anyone who know please help.

I am trying to replace the LCD screen on a 4G slide and I see there are two versions, a Sony and a Hitachi. The problem is that the part number on the broken screen doesn't match the part number of the Sony or Hitachi. I'm not sure what to do. I've Googled the part number on the broken screen and don't get any results. Has anyone seen LCD's other than the normal Sony and Hitachi?

Ok, ive given up hope of un bricking my tf300, and probably will never buy another asus product after this. My question is, should i replace the motherboard in mine, or put my screen and digitizer in another tab that i can buy for about the same price as a motherboard? Which would be the easier swap, and can someone like me without any special skills even accomplish this kind of thing?

Apparently I'm the first clumsy oaf to manage to shatter his One X+'s screen. I was foolish enough not to opt for drop coverage (I've had various smartphones for over 3 years, bigger drops onto harder surfaces and barely scratched them).

I have a bit of a problem. My LCD Screen no longer lights up. I am attempting to replace the LCD screen myself. I checked the p/n number on the back to find out whether it is the Hitachi version or the Sony version, except it doesn't match the p/n of either screen. The P/N on my screen is 83H00389-01.
