Hi,
Because my DVD drive has problems with read-eyes, I want to boot Knoppix from ISO file on HDD.
Note: I am so new to linux that I don't understand a code that you might tell me to enter into the terminal emulator if you don't include the 'knoppix@Microknoppix:~$' that automatically comes before it.
hi
i'm beginner in linux and don't know how to resolve my problem in knoppix
i have installed knoppix version 6.2.1 in my system recently and when i turn on my computer , knoppix runs as compize fusion and don't show username and password screen to me .
I've removed an old HDD from a computer and to install in another computer to use for data storage (personal files, not system files) and the file system that I've used was the Ext4, then, for some reason I decided to install another operating system in this HDD, I used the same file system for this OS (Ext4).
But then I realized that this HDD, had a lot of tv series episodes that I forgot to burn
I have Windows installed on one SSD. The SATA cable is currently unplugged because I'm about to install two Linux distros on another SSD, those being Linux Mint 14 and BackTrack 5.
I was given a used computer with winxp .
I quickly Dis-Honered the install by adding some goodies to the initial install.
Three days to go .
Who cares its Windows anyway.
The last windows os that I uses was ME.
I found Knoppix .
I wanted to try a usb install Ubuntu seemed like a good choice with Netbootn.
Eureka it lives.
The last Ubunto install I did was the one with the clear test password.
