I think I screwed something up in a HID library when trying to install a PS3 controller not long ago, as the PS3 controller never worked right, and now when I try to connect an Xbox 360 controller, the mouse cursor jumps to the top-left corner of the screen and neither it nor the keyboard will respond.
any idea what I ought to purge to fix this? thanks!
So, I'm not very experienced with fun scripts like this so I need help and insight from those who are good at this sort of thing.
A little background:
My mouse broke. In the meantime i plugged my xbox controller in, installed xboxdrv, and created a config file defining and customizing all the buttons for mouse operation.
It works great. That was easy.
The thread http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=282147, which I don't know how to answer, brings up the question of how "the" keyboard and "the" mouse are determined when a system has more than one keyboard and mouse attached to it.
((Yes. this is another wireless mouse-thread. I see several threads on issues with wireless mice, but when it comes to RF (Radio) mice it's mostly on glitches and tweaks. I only see threads on BT not working at all. So, this is one about a non-BT mouse that is not working at all.))
only 4 out of 5 buttons seem to be working, i cannot use mouse4 or mouse5 as a hotkey in teamspeak, works on windows any ideas?37: USB 00.0: 10503 USB Mouse

I couldn't find the answer elsewhere on the net, or this forum, so far!
I recently purchased a few USB OTG cables for my HTC One S, £0.59 off Amazon including postage, bargain. I can plug in a mouse, keyboard, and using a powered USB hub I can use my external hard drive with the mouse and keyboard.
However, an XBOX 360 controller simply doesn't work.
My bluetooth mouse (Dell BT Mouse) was working fine in Ubuntu after installing the OS. I just followed the gui prompts to connect it.
Then, after some time (right around the time I paired the same mouse with the windows OS installed on the same machine), the BT mouse stopped working. I tried again and again to pair it and it failed.
Running Slackware 13.37 original without updates.
Need to replace my trackball with optical mouse temporarily.
There is no xf86config file anylonger but xorg.conf file is produced automatically.
I see 2 "xorg.conf" files which can be and were modified on installation:
1) /etc/X11/xorg.conf-vesa and 2) /root/xorg.conf.new.
The descriptions for the mouse are:

Hello,
I have encountered a strange issue on a fedora 17
After a while (1 or 2 min max), the mouse stops working. I check the error log messages and I'm getting this : " usb 3-3: USB disconnect, device number 3"
I also tried to unplug the mouse and plug it in again but the mouse still not responds.
I also tried to plug the mouse to another usb port.
Thank you in advance
