OS 11.2 Shutdown Problem

http://forums.opensuse.org – I'm running OS 11.2, KDE x86_64. (dual boot with XP.) After doing a clean install upgrade to 11.2 on my system there is one problem that's come up. The machine does not shut down the way it under 11.1. OpenSuse goes through a normal system shutdown, the fans, hard drives, and lights all go out just like normal -- except for the light on the ethernet interface. It glows a nice steady green. This did not happen in 11.1, or in Windows XP. The only way to shut it off is turning off the power at the UPS, or unplugging the cord from the cpu -- things I would rather not resort to if I can avoid it. I'm not sure where to start looking for the problem on this one. Any help appreciated. (Distributions)
