http://forums.androidcentral.com – Ok so here's my situation: I'm ready to order the phone now (6-7 weeks to ship). I would like some opinions on whether I should do this or not. If not, how long should I wait? Do you think it's even worth it at this point and should I just go with another phone and sign a contract? EDIT: Ordered, received confirmation! (HowTos)

I know it is backordered and says "Usually ships in 1 - 2 weeks". I still ordered it last night because I can wait two weeks but after I order the order summary says "Jan 24th". Is it pretty accurate?

So, I ordered my Evo Design from Amazon. When my cart came up, it also said that people who ordered this particular phone, also ordered the extended battery, and the cover, which I also ordered. I get the phone in the mail, and noticed the battery door is only a small opening. So my question is, Is this extended battery that I ordered going to fit my phone? or was I duped? Another thing.

I hope this is the right category for this thread. I apologize if it is not.

I just received an order confirmation today from Newegg.com for an Apple TV. This was an order I did not place. The name on the order was indeed mine, and the order showed up in my order history. The credit card being used for the purchase was not mine, however; nor was the address it was to be OVERNIGHTED to.

I never pre ordered a phone before so I'm not sure. Will i be able to pre order the phone if I'm buying it off contract?

Ordered a 16 GB in the first 15 minutes, and it still shows pending.

Razr MAXX was sold out at all local Verizon stores, so I ordered one online last week on the 8th.

And now we're going on the 15th....and when I check my status on VZW's website, the order is 'still processing. Please check back tomorrow.'

Seems like a hell of a long time to be processing an order?

Walmart Pre-Order Thread 3 weeks 6 days ago

Hi All

I didn't see any Walmart pre-order threads and I personally couldn't resist the $168 price and pre-ordered for three lines. I was told on the phone after I ordered that they expect it to be around May 1st before it ships. Anyone have additional info?
