Hey all. I'm really new to android and I have some questions.
I have the optimus net from net10. As to my understanding, it runs off Sprints towers, but sprint has a contract with verizon so that they can roam on verizon towers. Can my phone roam on verizon towers?
I notice that my data icon and bars are sometimes white instead of green.
The lack of enthusiasm/participation in this thread about this phone is really making me lean towards getting the Note 2, but I still think it's worthy of discussing the details that were revealed today.
Sprint, AT&T getting LG Optimus G
I'm starting this thread primarily to discuss the Optimus G on Sprint.
I'm really sorry, and I'm probably going to get yelled at for posting here. But I'm in some trouble :(
I couldn't find an LG Optimus Slider thread here...so I figured I'd wing it, and hopefully someone will guide me?
This is what happened.
I was running "Fabulous Stock" Rom on my rooted Optimus Slider.
Everything was fine. Then, was going to sell the phone.
Whenever people talk about Android phones, LG generally doesn’t come up in the conversation. Companies like Samsung, HTC, and Motorola seem to get the most press, but there’s no question LG has a big following. Even so, they never came out with a phone that put them over the top.
AT&T has just announced that it’s version of the LG Optimus G will be available starting November 2. But for those who need no physical introduction to make purchasing decisions, pre-orders begin tomorrow.
A couple months ago we managed to get our hands on an LG Optimus Vu device at CTIA. The Optimus Vu is one of those devices falling in between a phone and a tablet.
April 22 looks to be a busy day for Sprint as the LG Viper and Galaxy Nexus should be released, but they are adding another device, the LG Optimus Elite. This one is similar to the Viper in that it’s eco-friendly, but it’s more of a budget phone. Since April 22 is Earth Day, it makes sense releasing it then.
Does the Optimus Slider have the same internal memory as the regular Optimus?
I currently have the optimus and the lack of internal memory is getting annoying. Does the Optimus slider have a better internal memory?
We’ve come to expect complete root access for all most Android devices, even if they haven’t been released yet. So while the Sprint LG Optimus G will be in our hands in a matter of weeks, prospective owners will have the luxury of being able to root the phone as soon as they power it on.
