Opinion on trading my Nexus 7 for a Moto XooM ?

http://forum.xda-developers.com – i really want a xoom, its the only other tablet i want considering it now runs Jelly Bean, the 10.1 inch display and of course being Motorola...im a huge Moto fan....but anyways, whats holding me back is, im not sure if i will be really losing out here. The processor difference is whats got me wondering....but can you guys leave some feedback on this please....the question is...is trading my Nexus 7 for a Motorola Xoom a decent deal ? Thanks Guys! We already knew about the upcoming Motorola Xoom soak test and now we have confirmation that it will begin very soon… possibly as soon as tonight. Members of the Motorola Feedback Network are receiving emails that pretty much state that it’s coming any time now. Though the email does not specifically state this is the Jelly Bean update, our sources tell us that it is.

Google has started pushing the new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update over the air for the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola Xoom (WiFi) models.

We already knew that the Motorola XOOM will be receiving Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean sooner rather than later so it’s no surprise soak testing is about to begin. Motorola just sent out emails to Motorola forum members that own the XOOM WiFI inviting them to test an upcoming update.

  Google’s other “Nexus” tablet is all set to get yet another lease on life. Participants of the Motorola Feedback Network just got the heads up of an imminent update that is going to be pushed to the still-popular Xoom Wifi tablet sometime today:

  If you’re a Motorola Xoom WiFi owner out in the US, it looks like you have a minor update to look forward to. Well friends, the unofficial Nexus Google Developer tablet has just become a whole lot smoother and buttery. How, you ask? You all remember how we told you about a certain colorful, yet buttery test run that was imminent for certain Motorola Xoom owners?

Motorola’s Android Honeycomb tablet, the Xoom, has finally been released in a cheaper Wi-Fi only version, on sale at the Wi-Fi-happy JB Hi-Fi – and other retailers.

Let me start by saying that I love my Xoom. I have loved it since the day I paid almost $900 for it. ($799 plus 9.25% sales tax here in Tennessee) I will be the first to say that it was not perfect at first, but through official OTA updates and third party ROMs, my Xoom has become the perfect companion and tool that I use at least 4-6 hours every day.
