OpenWrt: usbserial fails with error -5

view story

http://stackoverflow.com – (included linux tag in case this is a linux problem beyond OpenWrt) I am new to OpenWrt and despite an agonising few days I can't get my Huwai E353 3g dongle to work with my MR3020. I installed all the packages, but could not get /dev/ttyUBS0 to show up until I added the vendor and product numbers in /etc/modules.d/60-usb-serial as: usbserial vendor=0x12d1 product=0x14db. Now `/dev/ttyUSB0 hows up but I get an error -5 in dmesg and I have no idea what it means and can't find anything online: [ 10.500000] ohci_hcd: USB 1.1 'Open' Host Controller (OHCI) Driver [ 10.570000] usb 1-1: new (HowTos)
