openSUSE Conference 2010 – Collaborate Across Borders

The openSUSE Conference brings together users, contributors and friends of the openSUSE project from 20th to 23rd October in Nuremberg, Germany. Over four days, more than seventy talks and workshops explore the theme of ‘Collaboration Across Borders‘ in Free and Open Source software communities, administration and development.

The openSUSE Conference brings together users, contributors and friends of the openSUSE project from 20th to 23rd October in Nuremberg, Germany.

The third openSUSE Conference, osc11, kicks off on Sunday September 11, 2011 in Nuremberg, Germany. Under the motto RWX³ all Free and Open Source Software enthusiasts are invited to come together for four days to learn, hack and to have a lot of fun. The program will cover a variety topics with an emphasis on interaction between participants.

The openSUSE Conference (oSC) is the yearly get-together of  our community to give its people a chance to meet face to face, talk to and inspire each other. Being together in one room, even in this day and age, beats every other collaboration method and is what forges cohesion and friendships. That is why the openSUSE Project tries to get together this conference every year for its contributors.

The openSUSE Project Team is happy to announce that the 2nd international openSUSE Conference will take place in Nuremberg, Germany between 20-23 October 2010.

“Collaboration Across Borders” – Under this moto the openSUSE Community received in Nuremberg several hundreds of Free Software enthusiasts and contributors.

12 days from now it will be the 20th of October – the day the openSUSE Conference will start in Nuremberg, Germany. The conference will be kicked of by keynotes on Wednesday and Friday. With the keynotes we aim to inspire and energize our visitors, sharing some insights or a look at things they haven’t seen before.

Everyone knows what really matters at a conference happens outside the scheduled talks, right? The life of the openSUSE project happens when we get together, talk and plan, and this happens much faster face to face than on the mailing lists or forums.

The openSUSE Project is proud to announce the first confirmed keynote for the first-ever openSUSE Conference. The openSUSE Conference is an opportunity for openSUSE contributors to attend talks, workshops, Birds of a Feather sessions, and collaborate together face to face. The conference will be held from September 17 through September 20 in Nürnberg, Germany.
